Congregational Care & Discipleship

 
 
Sunday School 
We have several Sunday School classes that meet on Sunday morning. Please indicate an interest and we will help you connect with one.
Bible/Book Studies
Are available throughout the year or we can help you start a small group study in your home, at the church or another location.
Library
Promotes the use of the library for faith growth and development, determine books to purchase and keeps the library in order.
 
Children’s Ministry 
Plans activities for children for learning, fun, and outreach.
Bread of Life Funeral Dinners
Assist with food preparation, set-up, clean-up for those who have experienced a death in their family.
    
Fellowship Events
Plans and coordinates meals, entertainment, picnics and other events so that people can  gather together for fun, relaxation and conversation.
Caring Friends
Provides an opportunity to grow spiritually by visiting the sick and elderly, making phone calls, bringing flowers, sending cards and preparing food; meets on the first Monday of each month afternoon at 3:30 PM in the fellowship hall. Contact: Wilma Grile 
 
Prayer Partners  
Meet once a month to pray for our pastor and the concerns of the church, provide upkeep for and encouragement to use the prayer room, and plan for special retreats to enrich the congregation’s spiritual life. Contact: Fred Wallace 
Prayer Walkers
Meet each Tuesday at 9:30 to prayer walk in various locations including the church neighborhood, around the mall, schools, and the city to surround others with God's love and care through prayer.  You may walk in your own neighborhood at this time as well. 
United Methodist Women 
Meet to develop creative and supportive fellowship by growing in their faith in God through Jesus Christ; they support missions as they meet in local circles to pray and study. Contact: Odessa DeHaven
