Door Hosts

Welcome people prior to worship service and other special occasions.

Ushers

Distribute bulletins, help with sound during prayer times, collect offerings, and assist with communion and other needs during worship and special programs.

Minglers

Greet people in the halls, narthex and sanctuary, pass out mugs, and help connect people with activities .

Sunday Morning Fellowship

Provides simple refreshments for gathering time in the lobby and narthex.

Acolytes

Light the candles for Sunday worship services.

Communion Preparation

Prepares bread and cup the 1^st Sunday of month and cleans up.

Children’s Worship

Creates opportunities for children during the worship service to have their time to grow in their faith and to be in mission.

Liturgists

Serve with the Sunday worship during offering and reading of the Scripture.

Plans for services and coordinates the support of those services on Sunday and other special times; includes coordination of music, liturgists, communion, media, ushers, hospitality/fellowship time and name tags.

Media Team

Provides sound and visual presentations for worship and other special occasions.

Child Care

For Sunday morning worship and other church events.

Riverside Choir

Sings at worship services and other special occasions; opportunities are also provided to sing with the choir at Gethsemane UMC; Rehearsal is Wednesday at 8:00pm in the Choir Room in Room 103.

Riverside Praise Team

Is open to all singers and musicians who enjoy sharing music together. The Praise Team provides opening music and special music during worship as well as occasions for special program music needs. Rehearsals are Tuesdays at 4:30.
